Davao Agro Trade Fair 2010- Bonsai Plants

I really love plants. I'd like to think that I have a green thumb because I easily can grow any plants that I put on the soil. I never miss to go to the Agro - Trade Fair every Kadayawan Festival. Just seeing the plants displayed in the fair lightens my spirit and gives delight to my senses.

I adore bonsai plants although I don't know how to make them. I don't plan of learning how to do it soon because my spare time is spent with my little girl who's very active at her age now so I need full attention on her.

Thankfully, the fair satisfies my eyes. It has so many display of plants of various kinds and what caught my attention was the adorable display of bonsai plants. I was literally wowed by them. Here are some photos:

My sister sent me a text message during my lunch break telling me that she's at grand Men Seng Hotel having a seminar. We agreed to meet at five after my work. Me and hubby went there and we exchange news updates again of our respective lives since I miss her as well. Kadayawan Mountain Bike Race

Today officially starts the Kadayawan week. One of the events that a lot of cycling enthusiasts await is the Mountain Bike Race which will be on August 21, 2010. This year's race will have a new and challenging route.

The riders will assemble first at City Hall Drive beside Jaltan Food Centrum and will proceed to Maa Diversion highway via Quimpo Boulevard, Sandawa and McArthur Highway. The 35-kilometer race will start in Maa near Monteritz. The bikers will turn right Magtuod then go to Carmen Barangay Valencia, Biao Eskwela, Sitio Tinago and will finish at Barangay Langub.

The most challenging part will be the uphill climb at Sitio Tinago. The event is sponsored by the City government of Davao and the silently operating City Development Sports Division. It will have four divisions , all individual competition. The open elite for 21-35 years old, grassroots for 18-21 years old, Youth, 16-18, and the Masters, for 35 years old and above.
