Kasalang Filipino 2014 at Abreeza Mall, Davao City

Kasalang Filipino will be coming to Davao.  It is a Philippine wedding and tourism fair road show that will be held in Abreeza Mall, Davao City on July 25-27, 2014. The show will feature exhibits of the local wedding industry in Davao City and nearby places showing their creativity and craftsmanship.

Special promos and discounts await to the couples who will book during this event.  Several activities have also been lined up to make the annual event more exciting. The opening of the event will be on July 25, 2014. On the same day, there will be Tupperware Weddings: A Wedding Table Presentation Competition sponsored by Tupperware Brands Philippines. Five participants will showcase their talents and come up with unique and creative wedding table presentations using Tupperware Products.

On July 26, 2014, on the other hand, Ever Bilena Cosmetics’ Gandang Pinay Bridal Makeup Contest will be held where professional and amateur makeup artists will take the challenge and come up with a bridal look that showcases true Pinay beauty.

There will also be raffle draws before the closing of the event on July 27. Lucky couples and guests can win exciting prizes. The top three exhibitors with the most number of bookings will be recognized through the Best Booth Award.

Lunch at Abreeza Mall Davao City

Last weekend, grandpa invited us for a lunch at the newly opened Abreeza Ayala Malls along J.P. Laurel Avenue, Davao City. Since its opening on May 12, 2011, Abreeza Mall has been flooded with so many people. There are many shops and restaurants inside the mall and others have not even opened yet.

We headed to the mall at around 11:30 in the morning just in time for lunch. When grandpa signaled to turn left to enter to the mall's parking area, the traffic officer signaled him to open his window and informed him there's no more available parking space in the mall's parking area. Whew, 800 capacity of the mall's parking area is not enough. Grandma mentioned that we'll just park in a nearby Redemptorist church but there's a big signage there saying "Abreeza mall goers are not allowed to park inside". So we just go on and when we passed by Chinabank, there's a vacant parking space so it was there that grandpa was able to park the car. Good thing it was a Sunday so the bank has no clients since it's closed.

There were so many people and we decided to eat at Dimsum Diner. We ordered beef brisket rice, siomai, spare ribs and watermelon shake and beef brisket noodles soup for our little Keona. We were not able to get a photo anymore because our little girl was very unruly.

We right away roamed inside the mall when we finished eating. Keona got excited when she saw kids playing in the entertainment area for there were so many kid's playing. We headed to the department store at Robinson's and bought some groceries. We also strolled to the different parts of the mall and we decided to go home when our little girl became so sleepy and tired.
