Transfiguration Monastery in Malaybalay, Bukidnon

It was not my first time to go to this place.  I have been there around 8 years ago (wow...that long!).  Just a short side-trip on our way home from the Jesuit Retreat house also located in Malaybalay, Bukidnon. We just bought brittled peanuts and other goodies manufactured by the monks there.

This summer, we had our retreat at the Transfiguration monastery.  We were so many that the group was divided into two.  Some stayed at the old building while a few of us stayed in the new building, near the big church.

Yummy and plenty foods are the trademark of any Benedictine Retreat House.  Yes, we were served with abundant delicious foods that really satiated our gastronomic cravings. Since they have a coffee farm, we can have coffee anytime we want and it's bottomless as much as we want.

Sharing to you some photos:
serenity and peace ....these two words right away come to mind when I think of the place
 the beautiful Transfiguration church
a pose with a friend in front of the church
I hope I can still go back the place someday...
